A few weeks after our trip with Tiffany to France and Italy we packed the car again.
This time we headed for Skagen and Ålbæk, where Jørgen’s sister Helle has a nice summer cottage. We spent ten days here.
We bought fresh fish from the boats in the harbour, walked in the plantations and on the beaches, had coffee at Ruth’s old hotel and beer at Skagen Brew House.
We got together with Birgit and her two OES’ Cassie and Abby on 6 months, and finished our walk with a coffee break.
Since it was autumn we were able to collect lots of fin mushrooms – perfect together with our fish dishes.
Jørgens brother Lars came to see us one day and we pulled him out to search for mushrooms as well!
