The last day we drove down to the Hune dog Festival, where we met with eight other OES’ and their families. The purpose was to have a nice day and to present the breed, which unfortunately is no longer so well known in Denmark.
We made a little shop with material describing the breed, we showed grooming technic and how to do balance training with your dog. And of course we had coffee and cookies and a great time. On a certain time we took all our dogs into the huge show ring to present them. Nice to have the Sjølin family (who once had an OES from our breed) to help us with our four dogs!
What a great way to finish a perfect holiday.
Going to the south of Europe is great, but number one is taking all our dogs to Helle’s summer coittage. We are so greatful, that this is possible.

So great to see so many OES getting together at the Hune dog Festival. We were the best presented breed there - except for the Labradors. Thanks to Ivan for the great picture!
