Saturday the 10th of May we decided to make an Open Show in our backyards in Herringløse. Herdis Thuesen was invited to judge and luckily she agreed. Erwin Gisselfeldt offered the job as ring secretary and Sessa Gisselfeldt was willing to help. We felt it was a good oportunity to do some showtraining with our own Misty and Me-Too. So all in all eight OES entered. We met at noon, and after a short hello-session for the dogs we started cutting and trimming and brushing the dogs for show. There was also time for a quick show-training lesson. The weather was perfect, so we did it all in open space in our garden. The most experienced helped the less experienced. Thank you all! After brushing it was time for lunch. The humans enjoyed a super OES-lunch. Everybody who was there brought their own speciality in cooking. Splendid! In the meantime the dogs played around in our garden. |
