Thursday Tina from Slagelse came to take Luna home. She also has two other OES’ – Silas and Lukas (the latter is Maise’s brother). Tina has been in our house many times, during the L-litter-period. She was the one to look after them, when we delivered the first pups in Jutland the other weekend. So Luna knew Tina very well.
Friday Valde’s family came from Bornholm. They spent the day together with Birte learning to groom an OES and learning Valde to know. This is their first dog ever, so they are eager for success. They took Valde on a walk in lead, for a car-ride, on the grooming-table and so on.
Early Saturday morning Valde an family took the ferry back to Bornholm. Left was only Inca (upper right). We agreed with Cristina and Bjørn not to bring Inca to their home until Sunday, since they had a birthday-party Friday evening. We spent the Saturday taking Inca on the first tour with all of our grown up dogs. Inca enjoyed the ride. Nosed around like a grown up dog, tried to get in contact with Moonie and was very fund of big Magnus. Sunday morning we drove Inca to Virum, where Cristina and Bjørn welcomed her.
It was not that easy to say goodbye to Inca, being the last pup in the litter (below). When there’s only one puppy around the house, you quickly get close to her, and she became part of the pack over night. Generally speaking it is never easy to let go a litter. But so are the conditions, and we feel sure that the puppies have gotten some very fine families, who suit them perfectly. Of course nothing is for sure, when you are dealing with living creatures. But our feelings are right, and that matters a lot when you are breeding. We which the new families lots of luck with their puppies. We hope you will have a good life together – an provide them with same.
