(Right)
Robert was - together with Moonie the only actor in the commercial. Birte had a talk about old english sheepdogs during a break in the shopotings.
(Below) Robert has a make-up and gets paté in his face! Moonie was supposed to meet him and lick his face - and she only wanted to do that, if his 'after-shave' was suitable for dogs! Robert was not just pleased with the paté!
Before the shootings Moonie needed a haircut. Then you could better see her eyes. And then her coat got a handfull of grease to make her coat fill less during the shootings. Otherwise her coat was too huge for the small wings.
The commercial is about a man coming home from work. In the appartement he places his coat while his mobilephone is ringing. But his dog Hector (Moonie) meets him and licks his face pleased to have him back home. He sits down and eats his dinner from the frige, then discovers an SMS-note on the phone: 'I'll be home late. Remember to feet Hector. His food is in the GREEN plate in the frige'. Then the man finds out, it is Hectors food he's been eating form the green plate. Meanwhile Hector is waiting unpatiently i front of his empty plate on the floor!
Director Niels Gråbøl (right) is checking out if the 'chef's' version of dog-meal looks real. The thing Robert should eat should LOOK LIKE - but no BE - doogfood.
The shot where Hector (Moonie) should look at the empty plate had the camera placed directly on the floor. The shooting-angle should be low and cartoon-like.

The crew had to be patient to make Moonie do, what director Niels Gråbøl had planned. But she did well - even though she was not able to slobber of hunger!

It was not easy to make Moonie do things which were against her nature. Like running into the arms of a total stranger, who even calls her Hector. To make her lick the man in the head (but then the paté did a good job!). And to make her stand wagging her tail, slobbing and looking hungry while staring into the camera which was placed on the floor right i front of her.
But Moonie seemed rose to the occasion. Finally she found it really exciting trying to match new challenges in the shooting. And her patience was something special.
Actually the crew seemed very pleased with her. And we had a very exciting day at the studios togehter with Moonie. Everybody was very kind and patient with her.

It was a very good day for us all - the day Moonie went to the movies!

Oh well: The shootings lasted all day. The result ssshall be a 30 sek. commerciel which was shown on danish TV2 during december-january.
