On the Friday a young couple came to see our dogs. They plan to buy an Old Engslish Sheepdog puppy and wanted to hear about the breed and to see it.
Our Maise came up on the groomingtable, and while Birte demonstrated grooming, there was talking about the breed, the obligations on having a dog and of course the many pleasures.
Saturday we had encouraged people to go for a walk in Hareskoven (pictures above). Weather was lovely and we and the dogs enjoyed the tour.
Sunday Lunte arrived (Blue Berry's Jog Along) together with Bodil and Ejner from Tåsinge and Herdis.
Lunte was going to get showed, so we promised to give him a trim. Since he came with no nots in his coat, it was an easy job. After the trim there was time for a walk in the fields outside our house. A short trip, cause there was an icecold wind blowing us down.
Lunte "only" got a 2nd on the Odense-show the following weekend. But since it is great pleasure to have a nice looking dog every day, the grooming- and trimming-job was not at all wasted.
All in all it was a weekend in the dog's sign.
