Misty by the way had just begun puppy-class in obedience before the vacation. One of the exercises was looking at the train home in Copenhagen. As Misty was 'taken out of class' for going to France we decided to compensate for the missing training. We took her and Magnus for a ride on a steam-train going from Anduze in to the Cevenne-mountains. It made a lot of noice, jingling and smoking. But with a quite 'it-is-not-dangerous-at-all' tone of voice it went very well. Misty had to sit on the lap of Jørgen, curious as she is, to see the things passing by outside; mountains, rivers, woods, goats and many other things.
As we came back again to Denmark Misty and Magnus was united with the rest of our pack. Meggie was staying at Søs and Poul and the OES Smilla in Gl. Holte, while Moonie had started her holdiday at Sessa and Erwin in Helsinge , while later on to go to Søs and Poul, Smilla and Meggie because she came in season.
Also Smilla and Meggie went into season, so there was lots of things to do for Søs and Poul.
Our Persian Cat Rumle had a good time at Tina and OES Silas iin Slagelse.
All in all we had a perfect holiday, and made good contact to Misty, who is otherwhise very closely attached to the pack, especially to Mooni, who thinks this is her puppy.
But no way to enjoy holiday not knowing that your animals are taken care of and in good hands.
Boy, are we lucky speaking of that! Thank you all!
The last summer-house was in the village Bedoin beside Mont Ventoux. French standard - a little too primitive to daniish.
(Right) We drove to the back of Mont Ventoux to the village of Brantes. Here we enjoyed a perfect lunch with this beautiful view in sight.
Birte and dogs on top og Ventoux Mountain.
On top of Luberon hills you can do a very nice walk looking at the soutiside of the chain. As temperatures of the day was to go for 36 celcious, we decided to walk early in the morning enjoying the 'chilly' 27 degrees!
