Lots of nice walks in the forrests, by the seaside and in the dunes made us hungry and thirsty.
Fish was on the menu most of the time during our vacation
In the harbour Aalbæk, close to our house, we bought fresh fish straight from the fishermen.
And from the fishershop in Skagen we bought what we couldn't get in Aalbæk
All sort of fish was bought and we had plaices, fish-balls and smoked fish every day.
We picked Bog Myrtle to make Snaps of (Porse-snaps in danish!)
In between we enjoyed a beer on the harbour of Skagen and the dogs had a relax-hour and a bowl of fresh, cool water.
Homemade fish-balls, fresh plaices and really nice remoulade - all with homemade 'Porse-snaps'. That's just life on a plate! It was alle enjoyed on the terrace in froint of the house - and the wheater was perfect.
Binnesbøl's old fisherhouses in the harbour of Skagen were a perfect setting for a beer-break (water for doggies!).
