The following weekend it was time for dog-shows on Fyn. On saturday it was the Danish kennel Club match in Odense, where 28 OES entered. Judge Davor Javor was in good mood, so all got 1. prices and most had Certificate Qualitiy (CQ), We met with Jean and Rinus who were there in advance to rest on the camping site. We also met Eef and Rita from Holland - breeders to our Meggie.
After the show some of us went to Hotel Nyborg Strand, where we stayed in wonderfull rooms with a perfect view to the sea, while others had choosen to stay at the camping site, Grønnehave Camping.

Birte stayed with Beate and Tumle (I-litter). Next to them stayed friend Winnie with Alpha, and some rooms further was Victor (I-litter) with Bodil and Ejner. So the afternoon was spent walking dogs, visiting eachother, talking and having a small drink.
7 oclock PM there was champagne on the beach, and then barbeque at the hotel restaurant.
Next day we had a perfect breakfast and then drove to the showground.
Judge was Gwen Mogford. She was very friendly and had the ability to get all dogs through the show making the handlers think they had the greatest dog on the show.
Tumle (I-litter) had a new cage with pink cover. Unfortunately she cut her paw, so she limped in the ring. Gwen Mogford gave her a nice judging afterall and thougt she deserved her red ribbon (belov).
It was first time for Victor (I-litter) to go to a real show. So it took some grooming. Henriette and Salvatore helped, and made Victor look like a million all brushed up. He got a first price and was placed as number 3 amng the young males.
During the show Lone and Poul-Erik Dyrvig (who have Tobias from our H-litter) came to visit the show. They had brought sandwiches and hot coffee. So it was time for some relaxing and talking at henriettes and Salvatores place (left).
In the young bitches class Jean with Lotus (Me-Too's sister) was number one with CQ, and Winnie with Alpha was number two with CQ (above left).
Later Lotus was choosen as best bitch on the show and had a Certificate - she also was Best in Opposite Sex. It was dutch male Wiggly Scamp's Baron Baily who got Best Of Breed.
Eef ter Mors went to the ring saturday in Odense with his wonderfull bitch Vigilat's Be My Darling Angel (above right). So all in all it was the day of the dutches! Wonderfull to see som many lovely Old English Sheepdogs in Denmark!
Rumours tell that the OES-show 2005 in Denmark may take place in Nyborg. Everybody was happy, since all agreed that Lisa and Bente's arrangement had just been perfect.
A happy family leaving for Holland after the show (with a certificate in the bag) - Jean, Rinus, Jamie and Steven with Lotus and Dodger.
