As some of you might have known, Birte did a trip to England recently. There she saw a OES-litter from Kennel Lammorick. Nodoby talked about having a puppy from that litter from the beginning, but things changed...This is Birtes story!
For quite a while we were talking about expanding the family with another OES.
Moonie went empty and the same thing happend in Holland where we eventually hoped to get a puppy. So we asked Sue of Kennel Lammorick if we could buy a puppy from her. No problem, she said!
The puppies were six weeks at that time, so we were bussy arranging to get the puppy home to Denmark to weeks later.
The Bach Jensen family in Denmark wanted a puppy from our breeding for a long time. Since we were not able to deliver, we agreed to bring a Lammorick-male-puppy home to them as well! We did many, long phonecalls and e-mails with Sue, we got her accept, and we carried on talking to the danish Maersk Air to get two dogs to Denmark, we borrowed two flightcases from Birgitte Schjøth etc.
Because of the tragical mouth and foot disease in England we did frequent conversations with the local vets. They told us, there were now problems if we only stayed away from farms for 48 hours. Anyway we were nervous, because we had a feeling that the situation might change in a short while. It didn't!
Sue was bussy as well. Apart from the daily puppy-rutine Misty and Bobo (as the puppies are called) had to be vaccinated, microchiped, have healt-checks and export-pedigrees.
The 17th of March I (Birte) went to Lyn in London. Sue and her husband Roger had arrived the day before bringing the two puppies.
The 18th of March was the big day. From Gatwick to Copenhagen!
Sue with Misty and Roger with Bobo - just before departure to Denmark.
