Friday the puppies were 8 weeks old, and it was finally time for the new families to get their puppies home. We always offer to drive the pups top their new homes – if it is possible. So we can see the new surroundings, which makes it easier for us to help if problems should turn up in the time to come.
Friday we drove Sofus to Næstved, South Sealand. Kit and Sofie welcomed us. Everything was ready for Sofus with new toy, a pillow to sleep on and goodies.
Saturday morning Bente, Lars, Malina and Rasmus came to drive Futte to his new home in Arden in North Jutland. They were here for a one-week vacation and visited us a lot to take Futte for drives and walks. So Futte was ready for the long ride home.
Later Saturday we took Minos and Basti in our car and drove to Odense. To give them comfort on the journey, we also brought Alonso. The puppies have been very fund of him all through the weeks.
Marianne who should take over Minos lives in Odense. We met in her home with Birgit and Kay from Nordborg in South Jutland. They were going to take Basti home.
Marianne served a delicious lunch, before the two puppies and we had to separate.
Safe home mother Maise was in a bad mood. She missed her puppies, and we spent the evening taking special care of her.
Sunday we should drive Fie to Monika and Kenni in Slangerup and Mulle to Gyrithe and John in Vanløse, close to were we live. We took Maise in the car with them. It seemed as if she felt less pain knowing were they were placed.
Now we have three puppies left in the house – Madicken, Coco and Mishka. They have a great time with mother Maise, grandmother Misty and uncle Alonso. Old Magnus lies behind a fence in the living room, he doesn’t like pups around him. Moonie is still on vacation on Tåsinge with family Falch.
Next weekend it is time for the last three puppies to go.
But there’s a long tine to that!
