Saturday we left London by train from Paddington Station to Swindon, where the OES-club arrangement took place.
In the afternoon we joined a seminar about PCD and insemination – unfortunately nothing new under the sun! Denmark is really updated un that subject it appeared.
In the evening we went to the Dinner dance with great food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Sunday was show time with judge Christine Barber. Nearly 100 OES' joined the show. It started in the open in cold and stormy weather, but as the rain set in while the bitches entered, it was all moved inside to a huge hall.
The bitches were great and had fine types.
We really fancied the winner of the junior bitches: Regalbliss Lady of Mellodee. Best bitch and best of breed was also great: CH Beauvallon Artemis with Amityoak.
Best male and best in the opposite sex was Mirene Austrian Affair, kind of and old fashion type with perfect movements in the front.
Three Danish owned dogs also entered and did really fine.
In Yearling Dog group Torben and Dortemarie's Brinkley Rocco battled against Birgitte and Lisa's Danish Delight Rasmus Rex. Rasmus won.
Later Birgitte entered with a bitch in Junior Class and got 4th winner.
In the evening there was a final dinner for all, and afterwards peoples left to go home.
We stayed until Monday, and after some shopping in Swindon we took the bus back to Heathrow and flew back to Copenhagen, where Jørgen waited.
Thanks to Herdis for great company and to Jørgen who took care of the home area with our three OES' and the foster dog, Luffe.
