The beach was the first visit to the huge world outside our enclosed yard and garden.
We went for a walk with our four big dogs and brought two pups as well; those who have to go for the longest drive - namely Lucas, and 'Sille' (as we call her).
None of them liked the car-ride nor the walk on the beach at first. But when they were let free it was allright. Nevertheless it takes some more practise.
During the next couple of days we will take them for more trips.
Some of the other pups had their families come to take them for walks and rides. Actually it went very well with Conrad and Sigurd.
This week has bought lots of new experiences to the gang. In our garden their attachment to the pack has been strengthened, and they really have begun hunting and 'killing'.
They fight with the prey and shake it - don't worry it's only old teddybears, old slippers our specieal dog-toy!
Their food is dry dogsfood with a little water on it, and once in a while some nice meat - chicken or beef. (Shouldn't they be spoiled, before they will change homes!) Many people have visited us, and the pups really have been in hands. We never before had such a trustfull litter. What a true delight.
Misty still feeds them, when she wants to. Then they all sit under her and suck the best they havelearned - big babies!
The seventh week is strange. This is when the pup really grow small personalities. We people get so attached to them and it gets dangerous! Theres is only one small week untill some of them are going to leave us. We know it's like that - but it's not easy to understand.
The seventh week also brings new challenges for the pups and us.
Today the tatoo-man was here. The pups were chipsed and took it allright. Tomorrow they'll be mental- and helth-tested, and friday it's off for the eyetest. We'll tell you more about it, when time comes!
