We met at the station in Roskilde, before we walked through the old town.
At the end of the walkingstreet, a cafe served us 'gløgg and æbleskiver' - a danish speciality! And of course water for the dogs.
Saturday the 7th of December 15 OES's, one Skyeterrier and 13 people met at the station in Roskilde.
It was icy cold, but anyway we'd decided to go for a Christmas-walk in town. So we walked the walkingstreets, untill there were none. At the end of the road was a cafe selling small pan-baked cakes called 'æbleskiver' and gløgg - hot red wine with spices. As dogs were not allowed in the cafe, Birte managed the waiter to serve for us outside. On huge tables placed on the street, we had things to drink and eat, while our dogs had two big bowl of water.
We also had time to take a Christmas-picture with all of us standing in front of the big Christmas-tree in the middle of the town, before we all drove home to Kennel BlueBerry in Herringløse.
Here we sat down at the table, and enjoyed the food, that we all brought. The dogs played, we had a good time eating, drinking and talking of....dogs!
