There has been lots of changes during the last few days. Misty leaves the whelpingbox for longer times, so she joins the rest of the pack on our walks in the forrests. She likes that, but is also eager to get back to her children.
She seems to think, that nighttime is school-time. Untill now she has gone to them as soon as they screamed. But now she lays in a distance, watches the pups as the cry - fully determined only to feed them every four hour. Tough but fair enough- especially in the long run.
The pups are not in need of food. Most puppies tripple their weght in two weeks time, but the J-litter has nearly fourfold their weight. It surely shall balance, when they really start to walk about and we start to do the feeding.
Today the boys had a teddy-bear. They sure did examine the new thing in the box. Later on they used it as a pillow.
