Saturday the 4th of September Lunte left for Ærø with family Falch, and we have heard he's doing very well. He and Victor are getting along very good, and Lunte is sleeping next to Victor every night.
Back in the house was Anton, who had to face to the fact that he was now a single puppy. He joined us in everything: walks in the forests, over the fields and to the nearest beach as well.
Anton changed over the week. From playing around with Lunte he now had to find his place in our pack of grown up dogs. He worked hard on getting accepted by all in the hierachy. Actually Anton did very well. In a charming and sensitive manner he captured grandma Meggie, daddy Magnus and Smilla (Moonie's sister, who was in the house some days - more about that later!). And he came much closer to mum Misty. The two of them were playing, hugging and enjoying life.

Misty enjoyed playing with Anton in the garden.
September 11th it was time for Anton to leave.
It was hard to say goodbye, but we are sure, that his new family Franch Wamberg in Vejle will love him and give him a fine dogs life.
After they all left, the rest of us went to the woods for a long walk.
Now every dog is asleep, and we have collected puppy-toys and teddies, put the fences back on place and said goodbye to the small leads and collars.
It feels so empty. We miss the small puppies, meating you with a beam of delight every time, pinching your hocks, steeling your slippers and jumping upon you to be carressed. Two new families have these experiences now.
Anton before departure. He was sleeping with his favorite teddy, who later on followed him to Vejle.

It's a privilege being a breeder, and able to spend eight-nine weeks together with the puppies. Watch their life from first move, marking them to face the world and getting a good life.
All we can do now is to be available with advices and help if needed.

During the week we have expanded our pack with Smilla (puppy from our G-litter). Since Søs died, husband Poul has taken care of Smilla. But now he is not so well, and not able to manage her. Sessa and Erwin had Smilla in their house a couple of weeks, but now she is with us.
She's been playing perfect with Anton, and is getting along very well with the rest of our dogs. But five Old English is one too many, so we've decided to try find a good home for her - being seven years old.
We skipped an email to all our OES-friends and are happy to announce, that we allready have found a perfect home for her.
Tell you more about that later!
