It was mud and high tales this weekend, when five puppies from our I-litter met with their da, Nimbus, mum, Moonie, and granny, Meggi - and four more old english'.
We invited the I-litter to a "Meet-your-dad" day north of Copenhagen.
We met in the forest to go for a walk. Samson, Fnuggi, Iris, Molly and Tumle all came clean and well-brushed together with their family.
The puppies were happy to meet again. Actually they have seen a lot to eachother during their 11 months of life. So they quickly gained their places in the pack. Moonie, as a matter of fact, had to raise her voice a couple of times for the bitches, who didn't behave as they should - in her opinion. Father Nimbus had to tell Fnuggi how to behave, in order to make the large pack work.
The puppies had a good time in the forest, and enjoyed themselves jumping in muddy lakes or rivers. So they were not so clean and wellbrushed after the journey.
After the walk, we drove to Winnie's place. In her neighbour's horse-stable we could all stay and have a cup of coffee, and the dogs could play around in the dusty sand.
We ended the day with a little grooming - as much as it was possible, because the coats were very dirty.
A nice walk and relaxing in the stable. Then grooming - but not much. See Tumle belov, and understand why not!
