8th of Febuary the Danish Kennel Club had international show in Fredericia, Denmark.
16 Old English Sheepdogs entered and danish breeder Birgitte Schjøth was judging.
The evening before, our friend Monika from Sweden came to our home bringing his lovely dog Charlie (Bugaboo's Lord Of Gold). On the show-day Winnie and Alpha (Gentle Georgia From Beautiful Highland), Kennel Lykkegården, and Henriette and Rosa (Enchant Upon A Star) joined us as well. Birte went to the show with no dog. She had promised to help Beate with Tumle from our I-litter (Blue Berry's I'm Tumblin Around).
Even though Monika's Volvo-van is huge, there was not much space left, when four people, three dogs and lots of logage headed for Fredericia. We couldn't even bring a grooming table!
Luckily Winnie found a table in the show-hall. Then she and Henriette could make their dogs fit for the show.
Alpha and Rosa had a great time on the large grooming-table for two.
The judgings were allright for us.
Rosa was best OES-puppy and second best ind the youth bitch class; Tumle joining as 3rd.
Tumle got a 1st price, and Beate was told she did a very excelent showing.
Alpha & Winnie (middle) and Tumle & Beate right.
Charlie, who is swedish champion, gained his danish certificate, and then became danish champion as well.
The Dyrvig family (they own Tobias from our H-litter) live in Fredericia. It was Poul Erik's birthday, and he and wife Lone decided to come to the show and celebrate it with the rest of us. They brought birthday-cake and coffee. We brougt food, wine and flag for the birthday-table and had a good time.
After the judgings the dogs were allowed to run free. Charlie indeed enjoyed playing with the three lovely bitches Rosa, Alpha and Tumle..

Thanks to Lone, who took the pictures.
