On the 10th of March Herdis, Yrsa and Birte met in the airport heading for the yearly girls trip to Crufts.
The Danes Dortemarie, Johnny and Bendte also joined the early morning flight to Birmingham, UK.

We placed the luggage in our hotel and went into Birmingham to shop and just look at stores.
We went to the Jeweler area, where you could find a jeweler store on every corner.
On our way out there we had lunch on a wonderful Indian restaurant. The service and food was great and the bill small.
Thursday we got up early and went to the NEC – a huge exhibition area. We found the OES-ring and got some good seats. Then all we should do was sit and enjoy the 122 Old English Sheepdogs. They came from England, Germany, Russia, Greece, Holland, Belgium, USA, Spain, Ireland, Australia, Switzerland and Finland – but unfortunately none from Norway, Sweden or Denmark.
We didn’t find the quality of the younger classes very impressing.
But when 18 handsome OES-males entered in Open Class, we all lost our breath.
That was repeated with the bitches. An impressive sight, well worth the whole journey.
Best of Breed was the bitch Lightning’s Tequila Sunrise from Canada and Best in opposite Sex was The One And Only VD Blue Zottels from Germany. Super representatives of the breed.
We spend the Friday shopping in the many stands on the show ground. So our luggage was heavy when we made it to Copenhagen with the late night flight from Birmingham.
Thanks to Herdis and Yrsa for fine, funny and cozy traveling company. Thanks to Sue, Sue and Sheila for a wonderful evening Thursday after Crufts..
